A practice that meets you where you are.
Maybe you've practised Ashtanga for years.
Maybe you've taken a break and are finding your way back.
Maybe you live far from a shala, or simply need your practice to fit around the rest of your life.
The practise doesn't have to be "perfect" to be meaningful.
I'm completely new to Ashtanga
Ashtanga
Foundations
A self-paced introduction to the foundations of the practice, designed to help you prepare for regular Mysore classes.
“The practice is for my body and my life.”
Erja
“You just need your mat and your teacher.”
Angi
“I have rarely experienced such an atmosphere of acceptance and kindness as in our online group.”
Minna
This is what I hope the practice can become: something that supports your life rather than something you have to organise your life around.
Ready to join a Mysore class?
My regular Mysore classes are for practitioners who already know the basics of the Ashtanga method, whether you've learned with me or another teacher.
You don't need to be advanced. You don't need to practise six days a week. You simply need a foundation that allows you to practise independently with guidance.
If you're completely new to Ashtanga, the Ashtanga Foundations course will be the place to begin.
There’s no one perfect way to practise.
Over time, you can find a way of practising that supports your life as it is.
